In my 20+ years as a franchisee, I’ve been part of many decisions, but I want to announce one today that is different - and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. From time to time, Amy and I get the opportunity to make a choice that directly benefits you and your loved ones, and today is one of those moments.
You are the heart of this business, the most important part of what we do, and we are taking a big next step in showing our care for you. We will share more details in the weeks ahead, but for now I want you to know this: no company can be better than its employees, and this decision is about honoring and supporting the incredible team that makes us who we are.
We have partnered with Marketplace Chaplains, a specialized care provider to companies across the country, to begin the ‘HDKP Cares’ employee Care Service mid-February. Our new employee Care Service is available to you and your family members as an employee benefit, with no cost to you.
This Employee Care Service calls for Chaplains to reach out to each of our salon locations regularly each week. And, the Chaplains are available to you, to your immediate family members, and even our customers every day of the week, 24 hours a day. Anytime! All the time!
Also, we want to assure you that conversations with your Care Chaplains will be kept in strict confidence. The Care Team Chaplains are trained professionals who will guard the identities of those served and respect private communications unless to do so would violate the safety and well-being of another or are otherwise required by law to disclose the information to appropriate authorities.
